About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end-to-end automotive shipping operations.
- Maintain a detailed logistics database, monitor inventory transit using platforms like Central Dispatch and Ready Logistics, and foster relationships with carriers.
- Track inventory through Dealer Center, DealerTrack, and Frazer.
- Contribute operational insights to new dealer management software development.
- Design and enhance the national shipping network, negotiating rates with third-party facilities and ensuring optimal utilization.
- Research local transit markets and service providers.
- Provide transportation performance management, analyzing efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining partner relationships.
- Utilize Access, SQL, and other tools for data analysis.
